Guide

What Is an EPG?

The EPG, or electronic programme guide, is the schedule: what's on each channel now, next and later. In LAKSMED it appears in the channel list, in the guide view and when you change channel.

Where the guide comes from

The player doesn't create guide data; your provider supplies it.

  • Xtream Codes and Stalker/Ministra connections include the guide automatically.
  • M3U playlists need a separate guide address, usually in XMLTV format, which you add as the EPG URL.

Why a guide can be missing

  • The provider doesn't offer guide data for that channel.
  • For M3U, no XMLTV address has been entered, or it's out of date.
  • The provider hasn't matched the channel to guide data, so the guide exists but isn't linked to the channel.
  • The device's time zone is wrong, so programmes look shifted.

If the guide is missing for every channel, ask your provider for the correct guide address.
