Who we are

What LAKSMED is

LAKSMED is a media player. We do not provide IPTV content, and we do not see what you watch. Streams go directly from your provider to your device.

Data kept only on your device

The provider details you enter (playlist and portal addresses, usernames, passwords, MAC addresses), your favourites, watch history, resume positions and settings are stored in the app on your device. They are not sent to us. They are sent only to the provider you configured, as needed to play your content.

Data we process for licensing

To provide the free trial and licences, the app contacts our licence server. It sends:

• the identifier the licence is issued for: the MAC address of your connection (for Stalker/Ministra, the one your provider registered; otherwise one LAKSMED creates);
• a device identifier derived from your device and hashed before it is sent, so the licence can be limited to one device.

Nothing else is sent: not your provider's address, your username or password, or what you watch.

Our server stores, for each identifier: when it was first and last seen, the plan and its end date, and the devices activated on it. Like any web server it also receives your IP address with each request. We use this only to run the trial and licences, prevent misuse of licences, and provide support. Purchases

Payments are processed by [TO CONFIRM], which receives your payment details directly. We receive the information needed to issue and support your licence: your name, email address, country, the plan bought and the identifier you entered for the licence. We never receive your full card details.

This website

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you send, and use them to reply. The form uses a spam check that may process your IP address. Our hosting provider [TO CONFIRM] processes standard request logs.

Legal bases

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we process licence and purchase data to perform our contract with you, and licence-misuse prevention and website security data on the basis of our legitimate interests. [TO CONFIRM with legal review.]

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that run our payment, hosting and email, and where the law requires it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact [TO CONFIRM]. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

LAKSMED is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
