Connect a Stalker / Ministra portal

Some providers deliver service through a compatible Stalker/Ministra portal, identified by a portal address and a MAC address that the provider has registered.

What you need

  • The portal URL from your provider.
  • The MAC address your provider registered for you, in the form 00:1A:79:xx:xx:xx.
  • Only if your provider asks: a serial number, or a portal login and password.

Steps

  1. Open LAKSMED. On first launch it opens the connection screen; later, go to Settings → IPTV stream.
  2. Choose MAC portal (Stalker / Ministra).
  3. Enter the Portal URL and the MAC address exactly as your provider gave them.
  4. Fill in the serial number or portal login only if your provider supplied them. Advanced fields can stay empty unless your provider says otherwise.
  5. Name the subscription and press Save.

Write your MAC address down. Your provider's service is tied to it, and you will need it again if you reinstall or move to a new device.

If it doesn't work

  • The MAC must match the one your provider registered, character for character.
  • Some portals accept only one device at a time per MAC.
  • Settings → Diagnostics shows what the portal answered.
